The “what ifs”

Yes. So, I’m back here with an interesting topic today with the title aforementioned.

So, you found yourself in a situation and you needed to take a step as soon as possible but different thoughts flooded your mind—and the capacity of your mind wasn’t able to ‘hold’ them all!

Thoughts like;

“What if it doesn’t work out?”

“What if it turns out the opposite?”

“What if I die?”

“What if…?”

…and so forth.

Hmmmm! 😌

James 1:8 says “A double minded man is unstable in his ways.”

A man whose heart and mind is filled with so much doubt, lives like a rising and falling tone. Wait😲…what did I just type?😂 Oh yes! His life is disordered and unstable.

You know, we believers, ehnnn…God will give us certain instructions on some things and then instead of executing the assignments given to us, we’d be like “God, what if it’s not so?”

Same thing applies to our prayers to God. After praying, we’d be like “what if my prayers aren’t answered?”

If we don’t know, that’s one of the major reasons our prayers aren’t answered. Doubt is really a dangerous vice!

It means we aren’t ‘stable’ of the fact that He’s Omnipotent [ which means He is powerful ] and that His capacity is beyond measure.

See, when you trust God so much, you won’t have that feeling of doubt, not even a ‘strand’! I tell you.

Hence, your stability, owing to the fact that your all, your focus and your gaze is on Him.

So, the conclusion of the matter is to do away with all the “what ifs” or better still, doubts and FOCUS on Baba God!
