Five Things That Makes A Good Leader

What makes a good leader?

Being a GOOD leader is a lot of things.

1. Sacrifice:- I see good leadership as a sacrificial thing. He has to pave way for other to thread on and follow. He just has to be there ALWAYS—whether or not he feels like it.

2. Effective communication:- A good leader has to be communicative enough to his/her people or followers. Effective communication in this context means him talking and receiving a response. He gives ideas for his people to deliberate on. Listen their point of views, brainstorm, and come to a conclusion. Autocracy is just like tyranny. Don’t be autocratic.

3. Openness/Transparency:- That he is a leader doesn’t mean he doesn’t have to be accountable to your followers. He shouldn’t keep everything to himself. He shouldn’t be too hard on himself. He must let them know what he is planning to do.

4. Being real. No pretense. A good leader doesn’t fake what he’s not.

5. Teachability. Being a leader doesn’t mean he knows it all. He should be teachable and be advisable.

Daily Prompt – 18/01/2025

If you could un-invent something, what would it be?

Arms and ammunition—both manual and mechanical. It turned our societies and even the world, at large, upside down.

You could say that it was built for defense, but the negative impact has the greater percentage.

Pathetic.

God. Family. Friends.

Can you share a positive example of where you’ve felt loved?

First, for me, it is the presence of God. I always feel loved whenever I’m in the presence of God. It’s always full of warmth and love, you can’t resist it—even if you’re stone-hearted.

My family is the second in the list. You know that saying, “there’s no place like home” and home is family, family is home! Though we have some misunderstandings and all, I feel loved in their midst and I don’t hesitate to reciprocate it.

And, yes! I can’t forget my circle—though, it’s small. I love it because they have bright minds. Birds of the same feather will always flock together. What kind of friendship it is when there’s no progress? My friends have always stood by me, even in trying times. I’m grateful for them.

So, these set of places are my safe places. The safest of them all is the presence of God according to Psalm 91:1.

A Mood-Based Café

Come up with a crazy business idea.

The concept:-

A unique café where the food, drinks, music, lighting, and even the staff’s approach change based on the customer’s mood. Your mood is either self-selected on a tablet at the entrance or detected via facial expression/emotion scanning technology.

Sounds good, right? 😁

PS:- My apologies for being away all this while. I wasn’t feeling too well. ‘Still recovering tho’.

The Future is what really matters.

Do you spend more time thinking about the future or the past? Why?

The future, please! If I should spend my time thinking about the past, there is no way i’d make progress in life. No success. No achievements. I’d just be stuck in my past, regretting the mistakes I’ve made and all.

So, the best is to heal from whatever had happened in the past and move on. The future is what really matters. My ending is what really matters.

Good morning!

Salvation is the greatest gift

What is the greatest gift someone could give you?

Salvation, which was already given to me by Jesus Christ the Lord. But, He actually paid for it by choosing to die on the Cross of Calvary so mankind can be free from sin. I’m so glad to have been saved by Jesus. If you’re like me, you’d definitely understand what I mean, what it means to be free from sin, what it means to be a child of God, to be born of God.

Hallelujah! Happy Sunday!
